Today was my first (of many) trip to the beach. We plan on going a lot this summer, as usual, so we got our annual beach pass. Mommy loaded me down with spf 50 lotion before we left the house then sprayed me with spf 70 broad spectrum and added some spf 50 facestick. THEN she put me in my bathing suit, it has spf 50 built right it. She sat me under the umbrella for a while then I got to sit in my little pool for a bit, when it was time to eat she bundled me in a towel and a blanket and I took a nice nap. It was a very windy day and the umbrella started to blow away so mommy turned my pool on it's side and I sat behind it for shade. When it was time to leave I was a mess so mommy took me down to the water to rinse me off. It was a bit chilly but I dug my toes right into that wet sand and laughed everytime I saw a little wave come by. I liked it when mommy held me close to her and told me how much she has always loved the beach, I liked looking at the big waves and sandpipers. When it was time to go home I got to experience another tradtion. Apparently Mommy and Aunt Jen have always stopped for ice-cream on the way home. So we went to this place and got ice-cream. Mommy, Aunt Jen, and Maddy all let me have a little taste! I slept all the way home, it was such a fun and relaxing day!

After a bath and dinner, I am still a happy girl! I can't wait to go back!
