Yesterday Skye got her first round of shots. It broke my heart when the stuck her with the first needle she opened her mouth and held her breath but it took at least 30 seconds for a scream to come out. The rest of the check-up went well, she is growing so much! She is in the 75th percentile, is 23" and weighs 11lbs 13.8oz! She is a wonderfully healthy little girl! So after the doctor we went to Aunt Jens for some relaxing feeding and once she was nice and sleepy I took her to the mall to get her ears pierced. She chose little purple gemstones because she knows how good purple looks on her! She actually didn't cry much and I gave her some booby snacks right after and she fell fast asleep. By evening she was her usual sunny self and was all smiles for daddy!
